.
Celeste Williams is a dedicated advocate and leader in the non-profit sector, with over 15 years of experience helping those marginalized by society. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies from Saint Peter's University, along with minors in Women's Studies and Social Justice. Celeste is also a proud member of the Alpha Kappa Honor Society.
Throughout her career, Celeste has been committed to serving families with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges, working across three organizations. She later transitioned to a role as a Resource Specialist for CSPNJ, focusing on assisting the homeless population with various needs to help them achieve sustainability within their communities.
Celeste is a passionate advocate for those considered underprivileged and left behind by social injustices. She actively participates in community service, including feeding the homeless and organizing an annual holiday event called Day of Treats. Her commitment to community well-being and social change led her to establish Caring Capable Hands Inc. in May 2020, following the tragic loss of her only son to senseless gun violence. This personal tragedy fueled Celeste’s drive to address the trauma that leads youth and young adults to commit acts of violence, aiming to transform these experiences from trauma to peace.
As the CEO and Founder of Caring Capable Hands Inc., Celeste focuses on redirecting youth behavior and reducing recidivism by offering interventions and social services. Her vision is to create a community where young individuals can break intergenerational cycles of trauma and poverty through social values and support. Celeste’s work with the youth is a tribute to the life and legacy of her son, guided by love and a mission to build a better future for all.
Celeste Williams is the mother of three children: Rodney, Racine, and Dy’Asia. Her dedication to the community is evident through her active involvement in forming partnerships, engaging with youth, and advocating for troubled young individuals. Celeste continues to be a beacon of hope, compassion, and resilience in her community.
